Forte dei Marmi is a small Tuscan town, famous seaside site and probably the most popular of the Tirrenian coast, gathered up around a jetty of the 16 th Century, once used to freight ships with marble coming from the Apuan Alps, protected by an historical pillbox, still visible, built in 1788 by the Granduke Leopoldo I in the central square.
