Just a few walks from the “Rocca di Aries”, Medieval fortress belonging to the family of Forrtebracci, we find this "casa colonica" of medieval origins too.
If we think that these hills witnessed the passage of Braccio Fortebraccio da Montone, Federico II da Montefeltro and other important leaders now described in our history books, this place gains a particular suggestion, typical of the medieval and Renaissant period.
From the top of its hill, Casa Moravola dominates a green and luxuriant valley with secular olive trees and cypresses marking the borderline.
The construction, consolidated in 1999 by doing some conservative interventions that did not affect the original structure, is made of stone and brick and disposed on two floors.
The access is on two sides: on the ground floor and on the first floor, reachable via an external staircase.
The entrance on the ground floor is through a glass door which gives to the living room a lot of light.
After the small rest room which can be found on the right under the stairs, we find the large living room with two arches and four windows in all.
Three openings on its the left hand side give access to : billiard room, dining room with one window and a glazed door providing external access and the kitchen, connected to the dining and which enjoys access to the beautiful loggia ideal to eat outside from April through October.
The lovely terracotta tiled staircase leads, with its 15 steps, to the first floor.
Here we find a small passage with access to an office ( potentially a further bedroom) and then a large living-room with old stone fireplace .
This spacious room, with access also from an external staircase, is an ideal winter living area. A door from here gives access to the passage which connects the main master bedroom with bathroom on suite , two double bedrooms and a bathroom with shower.
The farmhouse is surrounded by 3500 sqmts of land automatically irrigated, where the beautiful 12 x 5 pool with chlorine irrigation system is placed together with the perfectly maintained garden.
An abundant quantity of water is provided by the two wells of 70 and 110 metres deep.
The water is also used for domestic usage as it is purified by a softener system. |
