There are many hypothesis regarding the origins of the town, but there is a legend according to which Todi was founded by the Veii Umbrians, a population who lived in the TiberValley. While the works to build the town along the banks were already begun, an eagle arrived while they were having dinner and took away the tablecloth taking it up to the top of the hill.
The inhabitants of the Valley though that this event was an early warning and this is the reason why they decided to built the town on the top of the hill.
At 15 km from the historical centre of the town, at the border of a small hamlet and in a very panoramic position, lies this ancient parsonage, today completely renovated and converted into a prestigious farmhouse.
"ABODE SAN VALENTINO", dating back to 1200, is completely original and,including a church disposed on two levels and a tower, is comprised as follows.
Ground floor: boardroom realized in the nave of the old church, large living room with fireplace, dining room, kitchen, laundry, bedroom with bathroom and storage room. The ceilings are high and have beautiful wooden beams and terracotta tiles, there are exposed stone walls with original frescoes.

The dependance ( 100 square metres), currently used as the caretakers’ accommodation, is composed of: hall, living room with cooking corner, three bedrooms and bathroom.

The spring of water lying within the property provides water to an artificial pond, useful to irrigate the garden.
