Facing the green rolling hills of the Sienese countryside, Tenuta Colli Senesi is an ancient borgo of medieval origins, placed in a panoramic and hilly position at 16 km from Siena’s historical centre and one hour from Florence’s airport.
The property includes a main villa with private chapel and canonica as well as seven other farmhouse making 1450 square metres in all. Some of the farmhouses are currently used for business purpose.
The land that completes the property has a total surface of 340 hectares and includes 13 hectares of vineyard, 7,35 hectares of olive grove, 90 hectares of arable land and 200 hectares of woodland with game reserve. The wine produced and preserved into stainless steel, wood and concrete vats, is mainly Toscano IGT (Bianco, rosso and Rosè), Chianti Colli Senesi DOCG and Chianti Vin Santo.
The current average production is the following:
- Chianti Colli Senesi D.O.C.G. 10/15.000 bottles between wine of the latest vintage and reserve, but the potential with the current production and in case of other export markets can become of 50/60.000 bottles a year.
-Bianco Toscano between 3.000 to 5.000 bottles.
-Rosato Toscano 2.000 bottles, with the potential to become 5.000/6.000 bottles
